In
May, we were delighted to take Frankie to the Uxbridge Horseman's
Trade Show in Uxbridge. They were set up in a large outdoor pen
and drew a large crowd especially after his driving demo. I could
have sold a few "Frankie's" that day!
We
delivered Kasey to Greg & Holly McHugh's MCH Morgan Farm at
Easter for breeding to their stallion, Up Hyre Advantage. We can't
wait to see what the end results will be! She is due at the end
of March, 2007.
Spring
training also began and Markie & Rex got busy getting back into
condition. Lessons also began which meant Frankie and OV had to
get back into shape too! We're lucky to have a nice big field to
ride/drive around which helps put the miles on them and they don't
get bored!
Nancy
was now busy with lessons and working with her students in addition
to her own kids and neice/nephew.
We
also welcomed MCH Royal to the barn for training and to do a little
showing for owner's Greg & Holly McHugh.
It
is with sadness that on May 9th of this year, we had put down our
foundation mare, Acoma Morningstar due to colic. It was a hard decision
but at age 29, I wasn't going to let her suffer any longer. We all
miss her terribly.
