This pedigree does much to explain CCA (Strathkirk and Horizons) breeding history with the Burmilla. It is a summary statement , more complete information on all of these cats is contained on this site.
The Cats marked with E are European imports or registered as European Burmese. So one can see the gradual transfer to the use of the European Burmese.
Those cats marked as 27 are European registered GCCF Burmese.
Those marked as 72 are GCCF registered Tiffanies/ Asians/Burmillas.
Those marked as 10 are CGGF registered Chinchillas
2nd generation Leading lady was our Irish import and her complete pedigree is available on this site.
4th generation Pagan Prince was the boy who excited the CFA interest in the European Burmese, and later led to the Europeam Burmese classification - -SO the reader should clearly understand that those breedings to the right largely predate the European Burmese classification.
5 generation The two Moonspinner Tiffanies, Mercury and Meerani, were the foundation cats that Jean Barnard (Strathkirk) found and imported from England with Horizons. Their pedigrees are also posted on this site. Shy Boy is our use of a Traditional Burmese. and is highlighted in pink as are other Traditional Burmese in the 6 and 7 generation. The reader may note Shyboy is a Bilbo cat (Wayne Trevethan).
